THE KONSENT — FULL BIO

The Konsent is a short-lived musical and visual project built around a
single concept: the consent of the governed, and the quiet erosion of
our instinct to resist.

Rather than focusing on oppression itself, the album explores the forces
that make resistance slowly disappear — comfort, boredom, routine,
distraction, and the gradual acceptance of what once would have seemed
unacceptable.

Musically, The Konsent draws heavily from 1970s progressive rock, but
removes the guitar entirely. Bass, drums and organ form the core of the
record, creating a raw and deliberately limited instrumental palette.
Conceived specifically with the vinyl format in mind, The Konsent is
meant to be heard from beginning to end as one continuous work. The
album will also be released digitally, while vinyl will be its only
physical format.

The project was founded by Ales, who developed its musical side in close
collaboration with Abstraum, responsible for The Konsent’s visual
universe. Abstraum conceived the artwork and illustrations and created
an entirely hand-made animated video, due for release in October 2026.

The debut and only album will be released in November 2026, followed by
a seven-date Japanese tour in December.

The Konsent was never intended to become a permanent band. It was
conceived to make one record, explore one idea, and bring that idea to
the stage. Once the album and its Japanese tour are complete, The
Konsent will come to an end — its purpose fulfilled.
